My 3 must take shots during a Personal Branding Session

Branding photography is about telling a story of the business through visuals that evoke an emotional response: desire to work with you, buy from you, join you. It’s breaking down what your business does to who you are as a business owner and communicating that across your images.

During my Personal Branding Photography Sessions in Atlanta, GA we get to shoot a VARIETY of looks, angles, stories. But there are always these three most important shots that we take that are at the CORE of any session.

1. Classic Headshots

We start with a few timeless images of your gorgeous face, smiling at the camera and looking away from the camera, half and full body shots. You can be sitting or standing, what ever makes you more comfortable.

2. Lifestyle Fun Headshots

By now the initial shock of meeting me for the first time and having my camera pointed at you kind of wears off, so the fun begins. Show off your personality! Big laughs, smiles, sitting in the chair, leaning up against a wall, sipping your coffee, reading, playing with your dog, jumping for joy, shaking your hair or doing a headstand (what ever you are into!!)

3. How You Work Shots

Close ups and details of your process, tools, product. Where you work and what you look like when you work. We want to show people where magic happens and capture some great behind the scenes of the process to share with your audience!

A lot of the times we have so much fun during your branding session that we get carried away with the flow of the mood and ideas. That’s why it is important to have a shot list or a check list of what we need to get.
