What energy do you bring to the table?

The other day I had a client apologize for his moodiness during our morning session, clarifying that he was still sleepy & tired. I won’t lie, I felt a little jealous: as a mom of two you I am rarely sleepy at 10am 😂by 10 I usually have been up for four hours, at least, wrangling two kids off to school, lots of water and two cups of coffee in.

Anyhow, he was asking if there was a coffee shop nearby so he could get some coffee to help him wake up. Sure I said, there was a Starbucks around the corner.

But then, out of nowhere, I found myself saying that all he needed to do to wake up instead of coffee, was to jump up and down. To create some energy.

The moment those words left my lips I knew it wasn’t me talking. I knew it was Tony Robbins and his teachings about changing your physical state in order to change your energy.

If you’ve ever listened to Mr. Robbins or been to one of his events, you know exactly what I am talking about. Yes, those were Tony’s words, but they were also mine. I was the one saying those things because I am the one who believes in them!

And yes, we did jump together, and laughed and it totally broke the ice! And this is who you get to hang out with when you go on sessions with me. The lighthearted, upbeat, energetic person. And we may even jump up and down together to generate some good freaking energy! Because without energy there’s no creation.

And at the end of the day it’s not my skills or my equipment that you will remember. It’s the way I made you feel. What energy we bring to the table every day, where ever we go, is everything. And that is also the energy we attract to ourselves. Mindfulness, kindness and positivity goes a long way.
