I remember talking to Lily on the phone for the first time, as we were discussing her maternity shoot. We spent at least 20 minutes laughing talking about the joys of pregnancy and sharing stories and what felt like old friends catching up after a long time of not seeing each other. It was so special. The connection on the phone was instant. And it was instant in person too. The best time i’ve had during a maternity photoshoot. I could not hold back my admiration of her effortless beauty and the energy their family had, and when i delivered her final images, the text message she sent back made me cry, happy tears. They were so happy with the result!
That’s why i love photography. I get so involved in the process of co-creation with the client that the end result is not just a gallery, it’s happiness and memories that are attached to a joyful experience. The images speak for themselves!
